After a great ranking earlier this year in Asia's 50 Best Restaurants, Bangkok's Gaggan and Nahm placed in the World's 50 Best Restaurants list.Congratulations to the chefs and their teams for this amazing success!
World's 50 Best Restaurants Award Ceremony is an yearly event celebrating creativity, passion and fine dining experience. Gaggan Anand, David Thompson and the rest of the best selected chefs from around the world gathered in London to attend the award ceremony in the beautiful historic Guildhall.
The main award went to El Cellar de can Roca (Girona, Spain), the winner from 2013. A four-time winner, Copenhagen’s Noma, placed third. Osteria Francescana from Italian Modena placed second.
How did Thailand place?
Gaggan #10 Inspired by classic street style dishes of Kolkata. Gaggan playfully reinvents regional Indian cuisine using modernist cooking methods.
